Information Graphics: Post 1- Anna Burkart

Considering the first two lectures, I am very excited to learn how to create information graphics. As we’ve learned in class, the infographic is a great niche for conveying certain types of information. Complex topics, sometimes containing lots of numbers, are better explained through a visual combination of picture, words and numbers. I really enjoy traveling so this past semester I studied and interned in Brussels, Belgium. I became interested in infographics when interning in the creative department at the European Wind Energy Association. The graphics designer created some really wonderful and creative graphics about wind energy and I decided I wanted to be able to do the same.
